AP Lang was a very busy class, excited for new faces that will be joining us on this journey into analyzing Rhetoric and in
depth discussions of in class novels! Today we went over how to send a Proper Email as well as we started our Voice
Lessons. These bell ringers will help students to analyze Figurative Language Devices and to start modeling proper AP Writing styles. Students also received their Avoiding Plagiarism Staying Academically Honest handout, please read over this handout and e-mail me NO LATER THAN 8/31 in regards to the 5 things that you understand about how to stay Academically Honest in this class.
Also for Monday please have your WHO AM I PPT Slide uploaded to TURNITIN.COM so that we can get to know each other and collaborate as a class on Wednesday. Submissions for Turnitin.com are very simple:
- Login to the class
- Select the Assignment
- And the “Submit” blue button.
- Select the file from your computer
- Click Upload to submit.
I can’t wait to see all of the creative slides that you will put together and get to know what really inspires all of you in this class.
