On Tuesday the students submitted the 2 Topic Controversy assignment as the beginning to the Research Paper Writing Process. These 2 MLA Headed Separate Paragraphs will help the students to find the foundations to creating their argument in the Research Papers. Each individual paragraph page needed to have at least one ANNOTATED article attached that can be used in the final research paper as well.
We discussed in class the planning (image above) for their Final Topic Thesis Statement. If they properly submitted their 2 Topic Controversy Assignment then they OFFICALLY signed off on the ONE TOPIC that they will write their Research Paper on. Now they will write 2 OPTIONS for the Thesis Statement, DUE NO LATER THAN 12/10. I am offering an ADDITIONAL HELP SESSION Wednesday after school where students can review old thesis statement samples and get help on the new revisions.
