Today we reviewed through the student’s Research Paper Outlines as they prepare to write their Rough Drafts (due NEXT THURSDAY). Students need to remember for the Rough Draft that they should:
- MLA Typed
- 1000 words minimum
- 8 Paragraphs (Intro, 3 Argument, 3 Refutation, Conclusion)-Body Paragraphs should follow the M6ET format
- 10 Parenthetical Citations
- Short & Long Quotes (see the OWL Purdue for more details)
- Works Cited Page (at the end of the paper, insert a PAGE BREAK and add in your citations ONLY, no Paragraphs). Any sources that you reviewed but DID NOT CITE go on the Additional Sources Page.
