Today in class the students completed their writing of the Banneker Essay (Question 2 on the Exam, Rhetorical Analysis). They should be reading Huck Finn and finding Rhetorical Devices as practice for these types of essays. Additionally, they were given time in class to complete the Inductive Reasoning Prose Models assignment, if not completed in class it is due on Friday at the beginning of class.
Students also need to be reviewing the AP Lang Link above for details on the American Historical Speech of Significance. This is an individual project to be presented after Spring Break. Please see link above for additional details, speech sign ups are THIS FRIDAY.
