Today we reviewed the student’s Resume Rough Drafts, some notes:
- Use a template, helps to structure the the Outline for you
- Bullets over Paragraphs
- Don’t over work the font (SiZe, Colors, change of the font, B/I/UL)
- Names should be the Largest thing (16-18 pt font)
- Categories:
- Name/Contact, et at the top
- Experience (Paid or Volunteering)
- 2-3 Bullets of responsibilities of the job, not long paragraphs
- Education
- 2-3 Schools with Years (DE/HS/Middle)
- Any Academic Programs/Awards go with the school
- Skills
- Awards/Extracurricular
- Have dates/Officer Positions with the Club
- Interesting facts (Employable ones, remember this is not a dating profile)
- Reference, minimum of 2
- Name, Title, Phone, e-mail
Additionally, the students completed the last essay for this Full Exam Review Session, today was the Synthesis style essay. We also discussed how to address a balanced argument essay if they have to speak on the PRO and the CON side of the prompt.

- If you have missed an essay writing in the last week, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to see me by Tuesday after school (I will not be after Wed or Thurs this week).
