Today we were able to start more of the regular routine for class, starting off with the CNN Student News. Many SAT/ACT/AP/GP Prompts are based in current events so it is vital that the students keep up with what is going on in the world today. I have added a link at the top if you are absent during the week, please make sure you are keeping up with the news!
This is our Template for the News as Cornell Notes are a Mandarin High Expectation.
Additionally, we discussed proper emailing structure for teachers; this is a life skill that students can use for academics, applications, scholarships, & discussions with future employers. Students will be reviewing the Staying Academically Honest handout and e-mailing me their 5 Elements of Understanding by Friday 8/26.
