Day 46-Elections, The Great Debaters & the Allusion Study

AP Lang-Today we checked their 1st Vocabulary packet (quiz Thursday) & discussed the Election Project & reviewed through the Campaign Videos and Expectations. Please see the AP Class Link above for additional details.

Eng 3 Honors-Today we reviewed selected sections of “The Great Debaters”  and reviewed their vocabulary 1 packet, due Monday 10/31. Students should be working with their team to create their propaganda pieces and their debate arguments.

    • Start working with your teams to create your Platform & Propaganda Pieces NOTE: Only Group 3 submitted an APPROVED set of Candidates today (Wall-e & Mr. Incredible), if yours has not been approved please see me ASAP!

AICE GP-Students picked up their Sadlier Oxford Vocabulary Books or Packets for Unit 1, we are still waiting on the remainder of the Vocabulary books to arrive, all students will be issued a book as soon as they come in. This is one of our pieces of “Habit Homework” as the Workbook or packet will be collected at the beginning of each week and a Unit test after 3 successive chapters (Ch 1-3=Unit 1 Test).

The Allusion Study started today as well, their 1st card is due Thursday!
