Welcome to the 3rd Quarter! 🙂 
AICE GP-Today they submitted the Tale of Two Cities Packet for Book 2 CH 1-13 (new packets coming Wednesday) & they completed the Quiz for this section (this grade will be in the 3rd Qtr). Vocab 4-6 HW was reviewed and returned, put in the grade portal as this wraps up their study of this part of the Vocab book, HW Ch 7 due next week.
As we move into the Argument Essay students need to be paying more attention to current events, specifically what is happening throughout the globe (not Jax new). They reviewed through the “World Affairs 2017” section of UPFRONT MAGAZINE today taking HAND notes on the additional articles in this issue and then an outling of the World Issues on the back of the page. If students did not finish this in class they may complete it for Homework, link & password to UpFront Magazine is on the World Connections Link above.

English 3 Honors-Today the students took The Great Gatsby Ch 5-9 Quiz that was from the agenda before the break but was not completed, this will be on the 2nd QTR grade portal. As a group creative project, and as the study guide for the FINAL GATSBY QUIZ Friday they started this Prezi:http://prezi.com/o3i9c4qi6dsi/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy . Students will be presenting them to TEACH their assigned chapter next class!
To continue the writing process for the Economics in America Essay, students need to Review their Turnitin.com notes and note corrections needed for the final essay in their Journals. ALL Outlines currently show as a 0 in the Grade Portal until the students complete the following Reflection page:
Once the reflection has been submitted (DUE NEXT CLASS) the grade portal will be updated to reflect the grade on Turnitin.com.
