AP Lang-Today the Students received the Avoiding Plagiarism staying academically honest handout, as well as were instructed as to how to send a proper e-mail for all classes:
Students should submit their “Academic Honesty” Email no later than Monday 8/28. Additionally they completed their Tallgrass Summer Reading Quiz, any make-up quizzes are to be completed on 9/7 after school.
Also handed out were the Outliers Extended Reflection Questions, we will be talking about them in more depth on MONDAY IN CLASS but students should be looking over the weekend to see where in the novel they will be finding their supporting evidence and bring their annotated book with them to class on MONDAY!

They also completed their Tallgrass Summer Reading Quiz, any make-up quizzes are to be completed on 9/7 during class.

Additionally the students took the Alas, Babylon Summer Reading Quiz, any make-up or retake quizzes are to be completed on 9/7 during class. Students may retake the quiz for a possible 75% credit, unless they were new to the school and then full credit will be possible based on student responses on the make-up quiz.
