AP Lang-Today the students worked in their class textbook, I keep these in the classroom as they are a bit cumbersome and we only use them for specific skills and readings. Today they needed to:
- Read Pages 1-6 and take notes in their Rhetorical Analysis Section of their Notebooks
- Read Pages 6-7 for “Ethos, Logos, & Pathos” and take notes in their Argument Section to continue our discussion of how to craft a proper argument.
Students submitted their HeLa Journals this morning, I will be looking for annotations on Friday, current ongoing Homework is to read Part 3 of HeLa due 10/5.
English 3 & Honors-To help improve student Lexile scores and in depth reading of Non-Fiction (SAT/ACT Prep) students were given time to work on 2 ACHIEVE3000 Articles in class, if they did not finish them they are homework that is due THIS FRIDAY 9/29. Any questions on how to complete the Thought Questions students should review the Achieve3000 Login Details above.
HOMEWORK: Currently just completing the ACHIEVE 3000 Articles, this will become a WEEKLY assignment.
