1. Return of HeLa Journals
  - Reminder of what the expectations are for each group as well as
    - 30 Total Entries (Approx 2 Per Ch)
    - Reminder 120 total Pages due by Next Thurs
2. Picked up a series of notes/handouts (anyone absent they were placed in your Journal)
3. Notes and details in regards to the HeLa Documentary “The Way of All Flesh” (Please complete the last 10 minute from 43:02 and then complete the following questions in your NOVEL STUDIES Section.)

  1. What was the director’s purpose in creating this documentary, what do they want? (Beyond explaining things to us or showing us who Henrietta is…). Support your claim with evidence from the Documentary.
  2. How does hearing the expert testimony & family anecdotes improve your reading?
  3. Do you feel that Skloot (the author) is advocating well for Henrietta, give specific examples from the text.
