    1. Class 1:  This was last class for me, they watched the Trailer for the Documentary here: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/gperf/episodes/hamiltons-america/
      1. They also did the Achieve Article “Even Jefferson Makes Mistakes” about his editing of the Dec. of Ind.
    2. Class 2: Cornell Notes 1-Watch the Intro of the Documentary up through the song “My Shot” where they are talking about not “missing their shot” to be someone in this revolution
      1. Then we will go over the Dec. of Ind.  (Textbook pg 111)
        1. Team Jigsaw of Grievances
      2. Homework: Teen Grievances, why do they want to be “an adult”
    3. Class 3: Cornell Notes 2- Watch from about 21 min in to the documentary picking up with King George’s Response to the Colonies’ Declaration singing “You’ll be back” up to where it tells that Hamilton will be part of the 1st Constitutional Convention (about 43 min in)

      2. Then we will go over the Pre-Amble of the Constitution (Text book pg 121)/Bill of Rights & Federalist papers (Textbook pg. 129)
      3. Homework: Teen Bill of Rights
    4. Class 3: Cornell Notes 2- Pick up the Documentary @43 Min in with Jefferson’s return from France, they discuss the 3 Branches of Gov’t , pause:
      1. Jigsaw in the Close Reader the Parts of the Constitution (Close Reader Pg 23) that made the branches
      2. Watch the Cabinet Meeting and “Room Where it Happens” (til about 58 min in)
      3. Read the excerpt from Chernow’s book “Best of Enemies” (Textbook pg 141)
    5. Class 4: Independent Cornell Notes- Wrap up the End of the Documentary, great discussion of how the actor that is playing Washington visits Mt. Vernon and how we look to the Founding Fathers as Heroes and yet many of them were Slave Owners, they go to the Am. Finance Museum and see the letters that lead to the Duel between Burr & Hamilton (Discuss Twitter throw downs)

      2. Homework: Write Paragraph (or more) reflection as to what they want “Their Story/Legacy” to be when they are gone, what are their dreams and how they are or are not currently working to fulfill them.
