Today’s post is a bit longer, please read notes below:

- Lit Card 2 for the 9-weeks
- Completed
- Connotation & Denotation In Class Cards, I will be pulling a random sampling of the in class cards for an end of the 9-weeks check. Students do need to be keeping up with the cards, but as we are really doing them like a set of detailed notes in review before the writing I will not be collecting all of them.
Review of the 1st ATTC Quiz for Book 2 Ch 1-13 (OPEN NOTES), MANY Students did very well, woot woot! Keep up the great journals, they are serving you well!
- Some students did not do so well so there is an Optional SAFETY NET for the students to remediate their grade up one letter by:
- Getting your test signed (parents should see notes that the students took as their peers presented full credited responses and I reviewed key words)
- Complete the Journal for Ch 14-19 BY MONDAY (even if the majority of it is questions that you have as you are reading, this is INTERACTING WITH THE TEXT!)
- Come to the book talk on MONDAY FEB 5th 2:10-3:30 (ish), take DETAILED notes on the characters so far as well as Book 2 Ch 14-19 (due Tuesday anyways so this is only 1 day earlier).

- Reviwing/Analyzing/MEMORIZING your Sonnets! Presentations begin in 10, TEN, T-E-N Days! Remember, Jr/Sr Tutoring is available in the mornings or after school for these, avail yourself of the help!
