The materials in my college portfolio will be used as part of my preparation as I apply for college admission and scholarships. One part of the portfolio is including letters of recommendation for college entrance or scholarship competitions. Because of our previous association, I am requesting a letter of recommendation from you.
According to our instructions for this project, a good letter of recommendation meets the following requirements:
- identifies characteristics you have observed in me that make me a good prospective college student.
- discusses my relationship with you
- gives personal experiences you have had with me which illustrate my potential to be a good college student.
The more personal the recommendation, the more impressive and enjoyable to read it will be.
