Sub Plan 2/11/22 (B Day)

Schedule & Agenda (all Items are also posted on TEAMS for Students and Sent out in REMIND), also, I do lamps and the overhead string lights in my room versus the big fluorescents, makes it more like home:

1.      Students should be completing their SHAKEPEARE SONNET FILE, we have been working on this for several classes, it is a file on their computers that should only need to have their final sources cited.

a.       Using citationmachine.net

b.      Student Helpers (like if students have questions on Citations: Elvedin & Emily)

2.      Practice their Sonnet! They should have at least the 1st 10 lines memorized

3.      Presenting FULL Sonnet to Class on 2/16

8th 12:30pm-2:00pm English 3 1.      Have students collect their Notebooks from the shelf under the window (if they stored them there-not all will have).

2.      Complete Week 5 Mini Write (In their writing Section, they have done 4 others so they know what to do)

3.      Pick up the Poetry Compare & Contrast “Red, Red Rose” & “Gym Class Heroes”

a.       Student will Read the Poem “Red, Red Rose”

b.      Watch the Video on Teams for “Gym Class Heroes”

c.       Click the link for the lyrics for “Gym Class Heroes”

d.      They may complete the Questions either independently or in pairs. Typed answers only please.

4.      They should upload their final Answers to Turnitin.com. (If they worked with someone, they need to put both names in the Submission Title but only upload the answers once.)
