Every summer, ALL Mandarin High students are required to obtain and read certain books, the titles of which are determined by the particular English class they are taking in the fall. Depending on the class, they have one or two texts that need to be conscientiously completed by the first day of school. English teachers will be administering tests that first week to ascertain just how well the book or books were read.
