    • Reminder! If you have not created your Book Cover Shell, here are the Steps:
      • This is to create the Base Shell of your book, we will do one more layer of paper/Art over this.

        Round 1:

        1. Decide on the Size of your book
          • 9″ wide x 12″ tall (Largest)
          • 8 1/2″ wide x 11″ tall (Large Seuss)
          • 6 1/2″ wide x 9″ tall (Small Seuss)
          • 8″ wide x 8″ tall (Berenstain Bears Square)
        2. Measure out this size on at least 6 pieces of cardboard (if you are using posterboard you only need 4)
        3. Glue 3 of each together, making sure that the cardboard (not the printed) side is facing out (Recommend Liquid Glue, just don’t brush it on too thick)
        4. Binder Clip or Paper Clip around the edge or place under a heavy book to make sure they adhere to each other
        5. WAIT for glue to dry 30-45 min

        Round 2:

        1. Take the Wide white Construction paper (depending on size, you might have to tape 2 together)
        2. Need one Regular drinking straw
        3. Fold the paper in 1/2 to create where you want the spine to be
        4. Place the straw on the fold and secure with 2 pieces of tape
        5. Brush one side of each cardboard with glue and space approximately 1 finger width apart (with finger on straw)
        6. Fli over and check for bubbles, smooth out with your ID
        7. Weight down until dry

        Round 3: Final Finishing

        1. Fold up each corner like a triangle-tight to the point of your book-secure with tape
        2. Fold up the FULL LENGHT of the Bottom-Tape
        3. Repeat at the top-TIGHT to the Cardboard
        4. Finish with the sides
        5. Fold the Spine to the CARDBOARD on each side, NOT just in 1/2
