- Post High School Readiness Newsletter Overview
This is the Final Project of Junior Year that we have been working on since Quarter 1! The goal of the English 3 Honors Course is to prepare them for Post-High School Opportunities, whether it is going on to a four-year University, attending a Community College or a Trade School, enlisting in a branch of the Military, or directly entering the Workforce. We have been working on items that will help them achieve their goals.
I know as a Jr Parent myself, next year has gotten VERY real all of a sudden! I know how stressful it is visiting colleges, figuring out applications, and planning for college applications that Open July 1st! This is no longer the put everything in an envelope, pray, and mail it off like we did; everything is digital- from the Common App, to FAFSA, and everything in between. I am working on all of these things with my daughter as she is at DA and they are not putting all of this together, hopefully this will help take some of the stress off of you and have your student feel like the are grounded and prepared for the successes they will have in the future!
I am SOO PROUD OF THEM!! They CAN do this!! 😊 I have Tutoring Mon, Tues, & Thursday, I am also available for student questions until 9pm on Teams Chat DAILY. Please let me know if you have any questions & how I can help your student!
Thank you,
Mrs. Reed
