    Independent Working Time:

       • “Everything you need to know about the Salem Witch Trials”: 
       • “5 Facts about the Real Salem Witch Hunt”
         • This is where you will demonstrate your note-taking skills based on how we took notes on the original PPT. 
         • Create a 2 Column Page to put the Article Notes Side-by Side
         • Note Section Header (Like we did in “Life After High School”
         • Underneath the Header, note key facts & your thoughts from each section of the articles
         • Make connections between them today
       • SCAN & Upload Notes to FOCUS for Final Review
    2. Complete the ACT 1 Vocabulary Sheet (10 Words)
       • Complete ALL Columns, including the Picture Column at the Right
         • Note: Part of Speech Means Noun, Verb, adjective, etc. 
       • SCAN BOTH SIDES to FOCUS for Final Review
       • Staple sheet in After Article Notes in Class Notebook

    REMINDERS

    Our “Working Days” will be at the end of the week. The class rules & expectations are:

    1. You are actually using the Time to finish the assignment for this class, then you may work on items for another class, read, add to the coloring sheet, play a board game, or nap.
    2. You may adjust your seat to another group or one of the comfy spots IF you are working, make sure this is a productive time, if it becomes a distraction, I will reassign your location. 
    3. You may have your phone AFTER ATTENDANCE is taken, with 1 Airpod/headphone for music, etc, NOT for Social Media, any types of Phone Class, or gaming distractions. Don’t spend the time changing your playlists, etc, or the phone will go back on the wall.  
    4. You may snack as long as it is quiet, non-smelly, does not require utensils, and you clean up any and all trash when you are done.
