Basic classroom expectations of Attendance, Assignment Submissions, & Projects:
- It is crucial that students attend classes daily as discussions and insights cannot be duplicated.

- Final Typed Items to Turnitin (Digital Inbox in their class Teams)

- If a student is absent they can follow the blog to keep up with their class and e-mail me BEFORE they are out at reedr1@duvalschools.org if they have any additional questions so they don’t fall behind.

- English 3 Honors: We are starting reading Arthur Miller’s The Crucible in classes this week, all pre-reading items should have already been completed and uploaded to focus.
- Journalism 1-Students are currently working in UNIT 1 to be prepared to create their 1st weekly column.
- Journalism 2/3-Has just released the 1st Issue of Straight from the Horses Mouth (our MHS Newspaper)!Link HERE
Click to Read the August Edition! - Speech 1-We are almost done with Unit 1: INTRO TO PUBLIC SPEAKING. They should have uploaded the 1st 3 Speaker’s Questions as well as their 1st Video reflecting on “My Favorite Teacher” to practice for future Zoom Interviews or online Calls. Please remind them to keep up with their planners, organization is crucial in high school!

- TUTORING is available Weekly by appointment AFTER school, They just need to have a Permission Slip-DCPS Sponsored Events or Activities on File & Sign up on the door PLEASE!! Students may also message with questions through TEAMS CHAT until 9:30pm Daily.
- LAPTOPS!! Please remind your student to charge them daily & bring their cords as MANY of the school curriculums are digital this year.
