Current Class Supplies Needed:
- 3 or 5 Subject Spiral Notebook
- DCPS Laptop
- Student E-mail through DCPS S#@students.duvalschools.org (accessed in OneView)
- Looseleaf College Rule Paper
- Blue/Black/Red Pens
- Multicolored Highlighters
- Small Stapler or Glue Sticks
Daily Class Agenda
- Attendance/Bell Ringer-In class the Bell Ringer will be on the Projector/TV & I will take attendance visually (please sit in assigned seats).
- Mini-Lesson/Discussion of Speech Topic of the Day-Please be attentive
- Phones Away, Eyes front, Engage in conversation when prompted
- Participation– in class counts, missing a day or 2 could set you behind a whole week with the A/B Schedule!
- Work Periods:
- In Class: Individually or in pairs/group, please be respectful of mask guidelines and preferences
- Closing: End of the Class we will have a wrap up session
- I will direct attention to the front, or we will have a timer (I think we know how to do this one) & some sort of exiting conversation. I dismiss, please do not crowd at the door.

- MS Teams-this program will be our Virtual “Classroom”, we will use it

- Class will be divided into Channels
- General-like a White Board, will have assignments of the day, will also have general Class Announcements
- Discussion Board-For responses to Prompts posted by Me & replying back to fellow classmates
- Office Hours-This is to ask me a question or for a grade review (there is a protocol that is at the top of the page)
- Student Chat-If you want to ask a classmate a question
- Direct Chat-This can be used if you have an AFTER SCHOOL question up until 9pm 🙂
- Turnitin.com (Class Inbox)-This is our Digital online Portfolio for submission of ALL non-verbal Assignments. We will be utilizing it through Teams for this in class and I will be doing a tutorial on how to upload assignments.

- This is for the RESULTS of assignments, DO NOT use it as a “to do list”
- Grading Policy
- Points System-Easy to Calculate, add up all of your earned points and divide by the possible points for the QTR
- A 1/# in the Grade Portal=RESUBMIT! The assignment was submitted ON TIME but is missing items in key areas (but a DILIGENT EFFORT was made) then you can Fix it and still get 100%.
- LATE ITEMS
- HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!!!
- MUST make contact via Teams Chat BEFORE Items is due (not the night before, like in advance that you are struggling) so you can get help. Procrastination is NOT the reason for late work,
- 10% off per class (5% off per calendar day-so if it goes over a weekend then that’s a MINIMUM of 10%).
- Beginning of the Qtr items are accepted up until school Progress Reports.
- After School Progress reports all Beginning of Qtr items are CUT OFF (0%).
