The idea is to carefully and dramatically present or read a chosen selection– approximately 3-5 minutes in length — with an emphasis on enunciation, clarity of speech, rhythm, inflection, pace, and dramatic pauses. The goal will be an expressive and dramatic performance of a selection of literary work.
Story Options:
- Some may want to use an established work.
- You may add to an existing work if it is missing criteria
- Source may be a physical book or may be an online copy (I will print or copy them for you)

- Embrace your inner actor! Give life to the characters you’re telling us about.
- Practice makes perfect! If you’re nervous, it’s probably because you haven’t rehearsed enough.
Now, I realize that doing this might not be as easy as it sounds. So let’s practice before the real thing!
