Today we wrapped up the discussion of the Historical Fiction Novels, posting any questions to http://padlet.com/reedr1/finalnovelqs for open sharing. Remember to look at the Historical Period of WHEN the novel was written as well as the significance of having Hawthorne write such a strong female character, as well as Shelley writing an inept male figure.
As the Scarlet Letter & Frankenstein final Journals & Tests are Friday we discussed today the details of the NON-FICTION Novel Group Project (see link for AP Lang at the top).
Additionally, we reviewed the 1st Argumentation writing “Thomas Paine”; breaking down the prompt in detail (see image left), and peer reviewed the student essays for typed revisions of the FULL ESSAY REVISION due Tuesday 12/8.
