Today the students completed their quiz for A Tale of Two Cities Book 2: Ch 1-13, MANY ar NOT Annotating. This is Vital, they need to be annotating their novels AS THEY READ to help with comprehesion of not only the story, but the rich Figurative Language that is in this novel. Up to now this has been encouraged and is the currently the stipulation for the retake on a quiz for the book, provided they have done this, most don’t need the retake. For all remaining sections of the novel this is REQUIRED and will be checked as a portion of their quiz grade, character cards will be the retake optional item for the remainder of the novel. Today we also introduced the expectations for the ACHIEVE 3000 Homework & Enrichment for the 3rd & 4th Quarter, this is to help prepare the students for the FSA and continue to increase their Lexile Scores. Please see Achieve Link above for additional details.
