Welcome to the 2nd Semester!
Today was the official 1st day of the new semester, but we are continuing our discussion about finding the Author’s Purpose and use of Rhetorical Appeals in the article “One Bad Tweet”. We discussed how the students should be “crafting their brand,” what is the perception of the student on and off campus, as well as in the digital realm.
Additionally, the students took their 1st ATTC Quiz over Book 2: Ch 14-19. The students MUST be annotating AS THEY READ, the students that are annotating are excelling on the quizzes.
Reminders
- 1/25-26 Mon/Tues: Vocab 10 HW Due, also bring novel annotations for ATTC Ch 14-19, we will be beginning the ATTC Group Prezi on this day
- 1/25: After school book talk ATTC Ch 20-21!
- TUESDAY-TUESDAY is the Achieve 3000 Week, make sure you have gotten in your 2 articles for this week (Week 2)!
- 1/27: Wed B-day, Article Above and time to work on How to Read Literature Like a Professor Notes, please bring that book with you
- 1/28-29: Vocab 10 Quiz, 1st Lit & Allusion Cards for the 9-weeks
