Today the students started tracking their Most Commonly Missed Types of Questions so they can really personlize their studying for the AP Exam. We will finish up the Analysis on Friday so they can project their current possible score for the day of the test, we are still working, scores can improve!
One of the ways to get scores ACROSS THE EXAM and BEYOND is to improve the student’s vocabulary. Through Number2.com the students will be working for 1 hr a week (2-30min sessions at a time of their chosing, INCLUDING WEEKENDS) to master a personalized set of words. They should complete the Diagnostic, that would be one day, and then the program has you wait 48 hrs to take the quiz. You need a minimum of 75% Mastery on the words for the week for Full Credit. (100% for a 75% isn’t bad right?) This truly lets the students work at a proper level to insure they are improving.
UPDATED ALL CLASSES!! Achieve3000 will be checked in the Achieve3000 site (not a separate submission to Turnitin.com), I am focusing on the Thought Questions (8-10 sentences with support from the text). The students should still be striving for an 88% or higher for the weekly credit and 100% on a 2nd article for the Enrichment Points.
