Students were split Tuesday, as some were testing for the FSA during our class time and some were able to get the ball rolling for their group’s Inquiry Research Project Prezi Presentations. Monday-Thursday of this week have been dedicated to these 2 tasks.
Fri/Mon we will be going over their 1st Discursive Writing Papers, Tues/Wed next week will be their DOUBLE DAY WRITING! 2 prompts in 1 period as they have to write 2 prompts on the day of the exam as well! They CAN DO THIS! We are ALMOST THERE!!!

- 3/14: Allusion 9 Due to Turnitin.com and to class (please put HW cards date stamped in the inbox if you need to head off to testing).
- 3/15: Lit Cards HW cards to Turnitin.com (Pick either Oxymoron or Theme) we will do Tone in class.
- ACHIEVE DOES NOT NEED TO BE SUBMITTED TO TURNITIN.COM this 9-weeks, FOCUS on the Thought Questions 8-10 Sentences with support from the article! If the program gives you a Stretch Article, DO IT!! I will be checking these right from Achieve3000 this 9-weeks.
- 3/18-19: 1984 Pt 1 Journals due (Quiz at the end of the week), Cummulative Vocab Review Due
- 3/19-20: Double DAY!! Please AICE HEAD Yor Papers in Advance, NO NAMES!
- 3/21-22: Lit/Allusion Cards, Vocab Quiz & Group Wrap Up Day!
- 3/25-28: Prezi Presentations!!! All could go on the 1st day, BE PREPARED!!!
