AICE GP-Today the students submitted their Vocab 1-3 Packets, please note that due to the FSA Scrimmages that the Vocab Quiz for this section has been cancelled (the vocabulary is on the semester exam so that will cover the assessing of that) and Achieve for this 9-weeks for AICE CLASSES ONLY has also been cancelled-HAPPY HOLIDAYS! (as we are testing so many days from the District already)
The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind Final Journals are due Th/Fri, please see the Google Calendar in regards to the Final Assessment for that. ALL STUDENTS Should have their GREEN COPY of A Tale of Two Cities IN HAND Th/Fri this week, we will be referencing specific page numbers for this reading during in-class discussions and students will be post-it annotating for this novel. ONLY the green copies will be used in class.

- Exam schedule has been posted on the class Calendar, I will be updating the Study Guide on the GP Link this week, but figure if we covered it, it’s going to be on there!

English 3 Honors-Today they completed the Vocab 1-3 Review Quiz & the Achieve Level Set. I did check the completion of the “Raisin in the Sun” Vocabulary Packet that they were given time to work on in class last week as well as over the Thanksgiving Break (80pts). MOST WERE INC, grades are falling from what were listed on Progress Reports. Vocabulary is VERY important as it effects not only reading comprehension but also writing scores on the SAT & ACT Tests. Reminder, your vocabulary pages should look like this (definition, quote & pg in the book):

(these can be traded in for low scores on current assignments). Copies of The Great Gatsby must be brought to class NO LATER THAN 12/1-2.
