English 3 Honors-Welcome to The Great Gatsby! Today they completed the ANTICIPATION GUIDE for the reading of this novel and discussed how these themes will be playing out in the text as they are reading. I read portions of Chapter 1, noting specific points about the Speaker and the Character of Gatsby (NOT THE SAME PERSON); students should continue to take notes as they are reading, a MIN of 1 page per chapter.

AICE GP 8B-Today the students completed Part 2 of the FSA Scrimmage & submitted their BWHTW Journals, this wraps up this novel (it will be on the Semester Exam, so please keep that in your brain).
The majority of the class had their copies of A Tale of Two Cities, Chapters 1-2 need to be read by MONDAY! Please review the ATTC Link to preview where we will be going with this novel. Vocab 4 was also distributed, this is due Monday as well and we will start discussing the Group Cultural Project.
