Day 142-145: It’s Been a Busy Week!

familyfeud2007logo AP Lang-Great Discussion in class this morning, loved the ARG Family Feud! Congratulations to the Flaming Flamingos for their win today & Enrichment point earnings, there may be a rematch in the future!

Be sure to review ALL the Names on the Names to Know list (Hint, enrichment point quiz may be coming!). Please complete the following Google Sheet so I know what Exams you are taking in the next few weeks and how I can best structure the class to prepare you for the exam!

Several People Mentioned trying to get through the passages faster, I like the tips in this short video, I recommend watching and taking what works best for you!

AICE Week: Inquiry Research Project, this was our wrap up for the AICE GP Exam on TUESDAY Next week! Presentations overall went well, some revisions were needed for the Annotated Bibliographies, but those groups have revised and resubmitted for higher scores. Some advise as we go into the exam:

Don’t stress, you have a wealth of knowledge in your brains that you will be able to pull from for the prompts, YOU CAN DO THIS!
Look over the notes from the presentations, see how similar those released prompts are and know that you will have prompts that are familiar on exam day.
Look over our CNN Student news, keep yourself up on major current world events.
Look back on the vocabulary, being as specific and eloquent as possible.
REST!! Drink Orange Juice, play some xBox, read a book you choose, watch a good movie with family. I have faith in you and know that you will do your best the day of the Exam.
