- Students will add the next new vocabulary words to their Inspiration Dictionaries
- compromise — (v) to settle a dispute by terms agreeable to both sides
- condescending — (adj) possessing an attitude of superiority, patronizing
- conditional — (adj) depending on a condition, e.g., in a contract
- conformist — (n) person who complies with accepted rules and customs
- congregation — (n) a crowd of people, an assembly
- They will then create a story using at least 10 of the 25 words that we have added to their dictionaries so far.
- Type up in MS Word
- Top of the Page: Their Name: Honor Code
- EX: Jane Done: On my Honor, I have neither given, nor received, any unauthorized aide on this test, quiz, or assessment.
- In their story they need to Bold the words that they used.
- They need to Underline the context clues they use to give a hint to what the word means. (A Picture of a student example is on Teams)
- Top of the Page: Their Name: Honor Code
- Type up in MS Word
- Upload his document to Turnitin on Teams
- If they finish this before the end of the period they can start working on their writer’s Bio, link to samples on Teams also here:
