Today the students completed the Poetry Analysis Packet as the 3rd possible style of Prompt for the FSA WRITES NEXT WEEK! The students have been comparing 3 different poems and how the Figurative Language shapes the Author’s Purpose in the text.
Additionally, we viewed the CNN student news (see new link at the top) as well as they worked on Paraphrasing & Annotating their Shakespearean sonnet. Presentations begin Th/Fri next week.
