In class on Tuesday the students began their Prose Models assignment for “Analogy,” they should also be reading the passage “End of Education” for examples of this extended style of comparisons. Assignments not completed in class should be completed at home and submitted on Thursday. Additionally, they continued their practice for the 55 Question Multiple Choice section of the exam by completing their AP Objective passages 3 & 4, to be reviewed next week.
In discussing the students recent Argumentative essays, the “Horace” essay, they need to remember to be SPECIFIC in their details. Naming the names, expanding on this support and connecting back to the prompt language.
