Today was the Introduction to Animal Farm, students received their packets and we read and annotated the background information on Orwell’s satirical Fable Animal Farm. This novel will tie in with their class discussions in Mrs. Schrimsher’s class on the Russian Revolution. For a bit of background information on the period I HIGHLY recommend the students view the following short video:
