AICE GP-Intro to the Debate Project, selecting of new groups & the viewing of excerpts of “The Great Debaters.” All groups have their debate topics:
- Even Groups (2,4,6) will Argue the Affirmative/Pro (Going 1st)
- Odd Groups (1,3,5) will Argue the Negative/Con (Rebuttal)

- All Groups selected their topics at random from the UPFront Magazine Debate topics & were checked out a copy of the magazine in which the debate topic is discussed. Additionally, they can go to the World Connections (UpFront & CNN Student News) link at the Left to read through the article if they were absent.
- ALL Team Members need to bring in ONE ADDITIONAL piece of research on their debate topic for discussion before the Boy Who Harnessed the Wind Socratic Seminar next class.

English 3 Honors-Today they compiled the packet for reading “A Raisin in the Sun,” read through the preview material & should be reading ALL OF ACT ONE BEFORE NEXT CLASS. Additional submissions today were the Vocab Packet for Unit 2 (QUIZ WEDNESDAY) and their class notebooks for JUST the Election Project Notes.
