AP Lang–Today we finished the reading and discussing MLK’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” as well as a quick review/quick write over the Caesar Chavez Prompt on the AP Exam. Students need to be working on their writing speed as well as the details in their writing to be successful on the AP Lang Exam. WE will be doing more of these quick writing paragraphs as the 9-weeks progresses!

English 3 Honors-Today was the start of the Dystopian Novel Study, most students had their novels and were able to read & discuss Chapter 1 of the Novel. Students should be following their reading schedule as they calculated in their novel reading calulator, they will meet again with their groups at the beginning of next week to discuss the Author and Historical context of WHEN the novel was written (Mon/Tues).
AICE GP 8B-Today the students reviewed in groups how to properly study for the Tale of Two Cities Quizzes as many are struggling, they reviewed the tests, took notes, and I went over the proper and specific answers. Student should be using all resources out there to help them understand as they are reading; audio books, annotating, Cliff’s Notes AFTER THEY READ IT!! Come to the Friday Book talks!
