As we wrote the Cover Letter to Apply for the “A” Student Position, we will be returning to that format for our Final Reflection. You can use the Same Template (Cover Letter-Blue) or just Download your Original from Turnitin (Posted to Turnitin 11/20) & Modify the Body of the Letter.
For the Reflection:
- Paragraph 1 (2-3 Sentences): Discuss Post High school plan based on the materials and learning we have had in the Post High School Readiness Project
- Paragraph 2 (3-5 Sentences): Reflect on your growth since the beginning of the school year, starting back from the Summer Reading Project (Posted to Turnitin on 9/25). Specifically reference the book you read (title in Italics) by (Name of Author). Look at the 5 Goals that you had in the Summer Reading Project, have you ACHIEVED your goals, are you still WORKING towards these goals, or have you abandoned these intentions? Have you seen growth, maintenance, or a decline in your grades as well?
- Paragraph 3 (2-3 Sentences): Do you feel that you currently embody the Character Traits that I was looking for in my students in our Previous Cover Letter. How has this class prepared you for your Senior Year?
- Paragraph 4 (1-2 Sentences): What have we learned that is important & what is something that should be included/modified/added for next year?
Final Cover Letter will be submitted in a Professional Email as we did for the 1st Cover Letter, due NO LATER THAN
